Content Management Hub

Welcome — we’re glad you’re here. Under Themes, you’ll find an eight‑month table of upcoming topics and proposed themes: what we’re seeking, what’s in progress, and where open slots invite contributions outside the monthly focus. Many of you have already submitted pieces that can easily fill these spaces.

Every submission is reviewed carefully, and while pieces may shift between themes and general content to create the best balance for each issue, all contributions remain part of the editorial plan. As we get closer to publication, pieces will be added to their general content locations. Updated regularly, these tables help you see where your work might fit while also encouraging you to pursue stories, essays, commentary, and other pieces inspired by your own interests. We also welcome suggestions for future themes.

This page is meant to foster an ongoing dialogue among our creative community — writers, visual contributors, and editors shaping OLLI Connects, a magazine that truly belongs to you.

FRESH IDEAS WELCOME

We’re always open to new ideas — especially the ones that come from lived experience, curiosity, and the perspective that only seasoned adults can bring. If you’ve ever thought about trying something new, like a tech column that helps fellow members stay current with advances in A.I., a food and restaurant column that shares local gems and personal favorites, or A.I.-generated cartoons that comment on current events and issues, this is the place to explore it. Whether it’s a recurring feature, a column, or a one‑time experiment, we welcome fresh angles and creative surprises from our writers. If you have joined our new writers’ focus group, you will receive monthly updates about what’s on deck and our advance planning. To join the group or personally reach out to the editors, you can leave a comment on this page, email us at connectsolli25@gmail.com, or contact Theresa directly at sokolvocal@gmail.com.
